I'm Francesco Romanello, and Skuto.app is my one-person project: free tools, in 6 languages, that help you use AI without getting burned. I'm not a lawyer and I'm not a professor. I'm a builder who reads the source documents so you don't have to.
Why this exists: AI arrived on everyone's phone, desk and kid's school, and almost nobody got instructions. Nobody explained which switch keeps your data private, or which paid plan is actually worth it for how you work. Skuto.app is the friend who shows you: plain words, real sources, no panic.
What Skuto.app is
Skuto.app is a multilingual platform of free tools that help people use AI properly.
The full name is Skuto.app, and that is how it is written everywhere: here, in every profile, in every directory listing. It is the form that points at this site and at nothing else, so it is the one worth remembering.
Every tool is free and works the moment you open it: no signup, no email wall, no "unlock your result". The method behind every verdict is public: How we test.
How the site works
One person builds it and the same person checks it. Prices, plan limits and model names are not typed into the pages; they live in a data file, each one with the link it came from and the date it was last checked. That date is printed on the page, so you can see how fresh a fact is instead of guessing. Change the number once and every page that uses it changes with it.
What the tools do is explain and organise. They will not diagnose you, read your contract for you, or hand you a computed answer on something where a real professional is the right call. Where that is the case, the page says so out loud.
How it's funded
Straight answer: today, no link on the site earns anything. There are no affiliate links yet, and no vendor pays to appear. That may change: when a tool's result points to a product or a plan, that link could later become an affiliate link, and Skuto.app would earn a commission if you signed up through it, at no extra cost to you. If that happens, it will be disclosed right where the link appears, and it will never change a verdict. Verdicts come from the method, not from the payout. Down the road there may be optional memberships (alerts when a vendor changes its terms, for example). Anything that's free today stays free.
